Audit Follow Up 2014

The following reports were released during the 2014 calendar year, and are titled by the departments they address:

Department of Law (February 2014):

• Four recommendations issued to the Department of Law from three audits.
• The department implemented all four recommendations.

Department of Watershed Management (June 2014):

• 18 recommendations issued to the Department of Watershed Management from six audits.
• The department implemented five recommendations and partially implemented two recommendations.
• We closed 14 recommendations and left four recommendations open for future follow up.

Department of Finance (June 2014):

• Twelve recommendations issued to the department of Finance from two audits.
• The department implemented five recommendations and partially implemented two recommendations.
• We closed all twelve recommendations.

Department of Public Works (July 2014):

• 19 recommendations issued to the Department of Public works from four audits.
• The department implemented eight recommendations and partially implemented three recommendations.
• We closed twelve recommendations and left seven recommendations open for future follow up.

Executive Office, Department of Finance, and Department of Information Technology (July 2014):

• Eight recommendations issued to the Executive Office; three implemented, two partially implemented, three not implemented.
• One recommendation issued to the Department of Finance; implemented.
• One recommendation issued the Department of Information Technology; partially implemented.
• We closed six recommendations and left four recommendations open for future follow up.

Atlanta Fire Rescue Department and Atlanta Police Department (October 2014):

• Three recommendations issued to the Atlanta Fire Rescue Department; two implemented, one still in progress.
• Four recommendations issued to the Atlanta Police Department; all implemented.
• We closed all six implemented recommendations, leaving one open for future follow up.


Department of Information Technology (December 2014):

• 24 recommendations issued to the Department of Information technology from five audits.
• The department implemented ten and partially implemented five recommendations.
• We closed 14 recommendations, leaving ten open for future follow up.
